How accurate is the chart math, really?
We compute every planet's position using Jean Meeus's orbital mathematics with the Swiss Ephemeris — accurate to under one arcsecond for any year between 1900 and 2100. The same data source NASA's JPL uses for spacecraft navigation. The house system is Placidus; aspect orbs follow the classical conventions (10° for the lights, 6° for the personal planets, 4° for the outers).

How does the I Ching cast work?
Six coin flips using Node's crypto.randomBytes — the same random-number generator used for cryptographic keys, with no deterministic seed and nothing client-side to game. The classical reading draws on Wilhelm's German translation (1924), Baynes's English (1950), and the Ten Wings commentary. A personal interpretation against your specific question is the metered layer.
What about my data?
Your photos and birth data live on your account (Supabase, EU), encrypted at rest, never used for training. Full export of everything at /api/me/export-data once you're signed in. You can delete the whole account any time from your account page.

Each subscription renewal from your second month on triggers a verified planting in one of their certified reforestation projects — mangroves in Madagascar, native species in Kenya, fire-recovery forests in Spain. You get the tree's species, GPS coordinates, and public certificate on your /me/forest page; you can share it as proof.
The rest of what you pay covers running the readings — models, storage, the careful handling of the photographs you upload. We run lean so most of the margin can fund the forest.
